Vintage Round Bulkhead Light by EOW – 1970s Industrial Bulkhead Wall Light

These round bulkhead lights were originally manufactured in the 1970s by EOW in the former GDR (East Germany) for use in demanding industrial environments. Designed to withstand the elements, each circular bulkhead light is constructed from solid cast aluminium and fitted with a thick prismatic glass dome, protected by a rugged metal cage.

As authentic industrial bulkhead lights, they carry unique detailing that sets them apart — including original embossed serial numbers, maker’s marks, and a clever two-handle mechanism for accessing the interior. These design features not only speak to their industrial roots but also make them a striking feature in both modern and heritage interiors.

The prismatic diffusion glass softens the output, casting a warm, even glow that makes this light especially suitable for ceiling installation or as industrial bulkhead wall lights in corridors, entranceways, utility rooms, and commercial settings such as restaurants, bars, or retail spaces.

Each light is carefully restored and professionally rewired in our UK workshop using CE-certified components to exceed British Standards.
