DESCRIPTION
This reclaimed vintage industrial pendant light was manufactured by VEB Leuchtenbau Wittenberg, one of East Germany’s leading lighting producers during the mid-20th century. Originally designed as a marine lighting fixture, these pendants were reclaimed from decommissioned cargo ships and have been expertly converted into large industrial style cantilever wall lamps.
Each fixture features a mild steel and aluminium body with a swinging cantilever wall mount, allowing the light to be projected from the wall and positioned where required. The glass lens is secured with three quick-release catches, providing easy access for re-lamping while retaining the fixture’s authentic industrial design.
With a beautiful aged patina and solid construction, these 1970s cargo bay lights make striking wall-mounted statement pieces for modern interiors.
All lights are rewired in-house to exceed British Standards using CE-approved components. Dimensions and weights are approximate. For US customers, UL-listed bulb holders and 100V bulbs are fitted prior to dispatch.

Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.
For further information about import duty & tax to your country, please check the courier website. We are unable to calculate the import tax on your behalf.
RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
