1940's Fuji Meibo 15x80 Binoculars

A superb set of Fuji Meibo Observation Binoculars 15x80 with a 4 degree field of view mounted on a vintage tripod. Beautifully restored marine binoculars in perfect working condition mounted on a 1940's bronze, brass and hardwood tripod. We have added a tripod dolly to the base which allow castors to be lowered and the tripod moved with ease by using the double ball lever.

These binoculars are predominately used for viewing the horizon. The optics give outstanding visual clarity. The eyepieces can be adjusted for focus and distance between pupils can be opened and closed.

We have stripped the original paint work and polished the cast aluminium. They have been mounted to the tripod using the original deck post complete with original 360 degree protractor. 

We have replaced the original bakelite knob on the end of the operating lever with a solid brass sphere. The same brass is fitted to the levers on tripod base to enhance the pairing.
