DESCRIPTION
A striking vintage industrial floor lamp reimagined from an original Daeyang fluorescent flameproof light fixture, once used in the engine rooms of cargo ships. The light was designed and manufactured by Daeyang in Korea from around 1976. This aluminium marine fixture has been copper-plated to create a warm, polished finish and modified with LED tubes that highlights its engineering heritage and steampunk aesthetic.
Originally a fluorescent light fixture, this reclaimed fitting has been professionally restored and modified into a freestanding floor lamp. It now stands on a robust aluminium tripod base which allows the lamp to be tilted, giving the piece a sculptural, architectural presence.
Fitted with four Calex 300mm spiral filament LED tubes, this lamp emits a soft, ambient glow that celebrates its industrial past while adding a touch of contemporary luxury. The fixture is fully dimmable and includes a red on/off switch, dimmer dial, braided cable, and plug for easy installation.
Every detail — from the engraved Daeyang manufacturer’s plate to the polished copper finish and brass hardware — reflects exceptional craftsmanship. This lamp is one-of-a-kind, modified and restored exclusively by Loomlight, making it a true statement piece for modern interiors.

Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.

RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
