DESCRIPTION
Our 4.5ft aluminium vintage caged strip lights are striking industrial ceiling fixtures, expertly restored for use in modern interiors. These impressive hanging lights bring authentic heritage character to contemporary spaces.
Originally manufactured by Aqua Signal of West Germany circa 1970, each light has been salvaged from industrial environments and professionally restored by hand. Every fitting is supplied fully rewired, fitted with LED tubes, and includes a 1-metre cable along with a ceiling mounting kit (chain and ceiling hooks) for straightforward installation.
The main body is crafted from cast aluminium with a flameproof glass tube, approximately ½ inch thick, providing excellent protection for the LED lamps inside.
A distinctive feature of this model is its in-built isolator switch, designed to safely disconnect the power when changing tubes. This tri-bracket, located at the end of the fixture, doubles as a manual switch — simply turn it anti-clockwise to operate.
Each light bears original serial numbers and maker’s marks, confirming its authenticity and industrial heritage.
All of our tube lights come with a 12-month warranty as standard and are professionally re-wired in-house to exceed British Standards, using CE-approved components. Dimensions and weights are approximate.
For orders to the USA, fixtures are supplied with UL-listed bulb holders, 100V wiring, and compatible LED tubes. Every light is sold ready for installation in residential or commercial settings.

Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.
For further information about import duty & tax to your country, please check the courier website. We are unable to calculate the import tax on your behalf.
RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
