DESCRIPTION
Serving aboard a U.S. naval warship throughout the Cold War, this 1950s industrial enamel pendant light was manufactured by Killark—an American company founded in St. Louis in 1913 and internationally known for producing explosion-proof and hazardous-duty lighting for military, marine and industrial environments.
Designed to survive extreme conditions at sea, it features a heavy polished aluminium gallery with cast manufacturer markings and original technical labels, a hallmark of mid-century American naval engineering. The white enamelled steel shade carries subtle patina from its decades of service, while the thick glass well is protected by a robust steel cage—classic traits of a vintage industrial cage light built for durability and safety aboard a working vessel.
These fixtures were typically installed in machinery spaces, passageways and ammunition areas, where reliability under harsh vibration, salt exposure and heat was critical.

Rewired with new CE certified or UL listed electrical components. Supplied with ceiling hanging kit which allows for 100cm drop length from ceiling to the bottom of the fixture. If you need extra drop length please get in touch.

Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.

RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
