DESCRIPTION
These impressive industrial graphite grey steel pendant lights were manufactured by Mesko of Poland in the 1960s and originally illuminated the streets of former Czechoslovakia. Designed for durability and performance, each fixture reflects the robust engineering typical of Eastern Bloc manufacturing during this era.
Mesko, founded in 1924 in Skarżysko-Kamienna, Poland, was one of the country’s leading industrial engineering companies. Initially an armaments and mechanical works, the firm expanded into electromechanical and industrial production throughout the post-war years, supplying equipment for factories, transport hubs, and public infrastructure across the region. Their lighting designs were built to last — engineered from heavy-gauge steel or aluminium, and produced to exacting standards for use in demanding environments.
Now sensitively restored and refinished, these graphite grey metal pendants retain their original Mesko manufacturer’s plaques and subtle surface patina, preserving the authenticity of their industrial heritage. The broad steel shade produces strong downward illumination, ideal for large kitchens, dining areas, or commercial interiors with high ceilings seeking an honest, utilitarian aesthetic.
Professionally restored by hand by Loomlight with CE certified electrical components (UL-listed components for USA). Supplied ready to hang with with 1 meter of ceiling mounting kit.

Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.

RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
