DESCRIPTION
These impressive black enamel vintage factory pendant lights were salvaged from industrial sites in the south of the former Czechoslovakia and manufactured by Elektrosvit, one of the Eastern Bloc’s most important lighting producers.
Each fitting features a substantial black vitreous enamelled steel reflector paired with a robust finned aluminium gallery, designed to dissipate heat from high-intensity industrial lamps. The oversized form (430mm diameter, 5.8kg) and original worn factory finish embody the utilitarian strength and design language of mid-20th-century heavy industry.
Founded in 1947 in Nové Zámky, Slovakia, Elektrosvit was a state-run company producing industrial lighting for factories, shipyards, and power plants across Czechoslovakia and beyond. Their fittings were engineered to national ČSN standards and widely exported throughout the COMECON bloc, making them a recognisable feature of Eastern European industry.
Now fully restored and rewired, these pendants offer a bold heritage statement for modern interiors, combining Eastern Bloc provenance with timeless industrial appeal. Supplied with ceiling mounting kit with a drop of 1 meter. If you need a different length please get in touch.

Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.

RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
