A rare example of a 1960s white vintage tube light from British manufacturer Benjamin Electric, reclaimed from the decommissioned Eggborough Power Station in Yorkshire.
Part of Benjamin’s “Crysteel” Taskmaster Flurolier range, this industrial tube light features its original white vitreous-enameled steel body, factory venting and intact maker’s label – details now highly sought after in true industrial salvage.
Benjamin were renowned as a major supplier of enamelled steel and aluminium lighting for factories, workshops, power stations, railway infrastructure, military sites, aircraft hangars and other industrial environments. Their lights were engineered for durability, glare control and hygiene — designed to survive harsh working conditions.
“Flurolier” functions as a brand-designation of Benjamin’s mid-20th century industrial lighting line built around fluorescent tubes or linear light sources.
Designed as a high-output linear light for workshops and power stations, the vented gallery creates a subtle uplight effect when illuminated, softening the functional industrial form.
Each fitting is fully restored, rewired and certified to British safety standards while retaining its authentic worn enamel finish and working-life patina. Ideal for commercial interiors, kitchen islands, studios, galleries or anywhere a genuine piece of industrial heritage can shine again. Supplied complete with ceiling hanging kit and lamp.

Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.

RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
