The signalling lamp was made in 1981 by Shonan Kosakusho. It has been mounted onto a military gyroscope tripod to create an outstanding and unique tripod floor lamp.
This retro floor lamp has some fantastic mechanical features such as a lamp focus mechanism and shutter which is controlled by the handle on the back. There is also pan and tilt levers for locking the lamp into position.
The bulb is 1000w tungsten and is original to the lamp. This is controlled by a panel designed and built at Loomlight. The controller is made up from a mixture of old and new materials.
The main switch is a brass isolator switch, reclaimed from an old Eastern European factory made in the 1970's. The handle for dimming is taken from another Japanese search light. The meter reads the voltage as you turn the handle. All the components are fitted into a copper clad galvanized box.
Floor lamps are professionally re-wired in-house to exceed British Standards using CE approved components. Dimensions and weights are approximate. For all orders to USA, UL listed bulb holders and 100v bulbs will be fitted. All lights are sold ready for use in your home or commercial installation.
