DESCRIPTION
This spherical chromed retro ceiling lamp was designed by celebrated Czech designer Josef Hůrka for NAPAKO.
This is a rare 1950's circular pendant light, an exceptional example of mid-century Czechoslovak lighting design. Produced during the era of nationalised industry under communist rule, it reflects the technical precision and sculptural minimalism that defined the period.
This 53cm diameter chromed retro ceiling lamp features Hůrka’s signature dish-form silhouette: a wide, reflective chrome-plated steel enclosure paired with an etched glass lens that diffuses light into a soft, even glow. Stamped NAPAKO typ 1108, the pendant retains its original factory patina, including the characteristic warm ageing to the chrome surface.
Sensitively restored without compromising authenticity, this collector’s piece brings a bold, modernist presence to commercial receptions, hotel lobbies, lounges, studios and contemporary residential interiors.
Rewired with new CE certified or UL Listed electrical components.

Import Duty & Tax

The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.

RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
