DESCRIPTION
Once illuminating a textile mill in former Czechoslovakia, these vintage 1950s Elektrosvit opaline pendant lights are authentic examples of Eastern Bloc industrial design from the early years of communist rule.
Each pendant features a thick opaline glass shade, producing a soft, even glow, contrasted by a polished aluminium gallery that gives a timeless industrial edge. The cast Elektrosvit manufacturer’s markings remain visible, a nod to the nationalised factories of the era and the rich heritage of mid-century Czechoslovakian engineering.
Professionally restored and rewired to modern standards, these pendants are ideal for restaurants, bars, retail interiors, or contemporary homes seeking statement lighting with historical character. Their blend of industrial durability and refined light diffusion makes them as functional today as when they first left the Elektrosvit factory in the 1950s.

Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.

RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
