DESCRIPTION
These striking 1970's retro pendant lights were manufactured in Czechoslovakia, during the country’s period of communist rule, and were salvaged from a railway departure lounge in Prague. Their bold geometric form and meticulous glasswork reflect the precision of Eastern European industrial design at the time — practical, enduring, and quietly decorative.
Each light features two cut-glass prismatic shades housed within a rectangular metal enclosure, producing a bright yet softly diffused illumination when lit. The prismatic texture enhances light dispersion, creating a warm and balanced glow ideal for lounges, lobbies, bedrooms, or dressing areas.
The cuboid shaped fixtures have been sensitively restored to retain their original finish and components, celebrating their Cold War-era aesthetic while ensuring modern safety and reliability.
Professionally re-wired in-house to exceed British Standards using CE-approved components (UL-listed versions available for the USA). Reclaimed, restored, and shipped globally — ready to install and illuminate once again.

Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.

RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
